After the success of BDQ’s latest Atlassian Marketplace app, Real Signature for Jira, and requests from clients and external commenters, BDQ are happy to announce Real Signature for Confluence! All the same great functionality from our app for Jira, now available for your Confluence pages!
Real Signature for Jira is the app, developed by Atlassian Solution partner BDQ, that revolutionizes how you handle in-person signatures by allowing users to attach actual signatures to Jira tasks and requests with just a click and a scribble. Whether using a cursor, stylus, or finger, you can seamlessly add signatures on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.
The app was originally developed in concert with a client to improve their Field Service Management, enabling their mobile workforce to streamline the process of recording customers signing off their work. No longer would they need to use an external app to capture signatures and then attach them to the task or request. With Real Signature, signatures are saved directly to Jira with details of the current user, the signee’s name (optional) and the date/time information. Plus, you can even download the signed task or request as a PDF to save elsewhere or send to the customer for their records.
As Atlassian Solution partners and as daily users of the Atlassian toolset in-house, our technical experts saw the benefits of taking that same functionality and adding it into Confluence. BDQ is, after all, a company much like any other. We have documents and forms that need to be signed off by our employees, our customers or other external parties. And, like other companies, we had to use third-party apps to obtain and log those signatures. But now we all have a better option.
Real Signature for Confluence gives you all the convenience of the app for Jira - real, on-screen, in-person signatures using a cursor, stylus, or finger, seamlessly added on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices - but now these signatures can be added to ANY Confluence page. Whether it’s policies, contracts, NDAs, HR documents or any other document you might need a signature on. There’s no need for the signee to have a Confluence account or an Atlassian account of any kind. Plus the signatures can be downloaded as PDFs and sent on to wherever they may need to go.
The Real Signature for Confluence app allows users to attach real, in-person signatures to any Confluence page— whether it's contracts, NDAs, or HR documents — using a cursor, stylus, or finger on any device. Signatures are logged with detailed information and can be exported as PDFs for easy sharing. No Confluence account is needed for signees, simplifying the process for external parties.
